About The Poem – Mythology Of Happiness

It is still a mystery why I named this poem this way… Just read this blog to know what this poem is about.

The poem expresses the deep longing of a person for love and happiness and the eventual realization of that longing through the power of love. It portrays the resilience and strength of the human spirit to overcome difficult times and find hope in the midst of despair.

The imagery of the silent shores, waves, and trees shedding leaves not giving shade creates a sense of desolation and isolation, emphasizing the loneliness of the person. However, the turning point in the poem comes with the arrival of love, represented by the light falling all over her and the blooming of flowers in her garden.

The person finds solace in the presence of love, which is portrayed through the sensory experiences of hearing, feeling, seeing, tasting, and smelling. The mention of mythology adds a mystical and magical quality to the poem as if the love that is found is beyond the ordinary and transcends time and space.

The poem is a beautiful reminder of the power of love to heal, transform, and bring happiness into our lives.

About The Poem – Lessons From Childish Romances

Lessons From Childish Romances

The poem “Lessons From Childish Romances” takes us on a journey through the whirlwind of life’s experiences. The rollercoaster is a metaphor for the highs and lows that we all face as we navigate our way through life. The speaker’s mind is colorless as they embark on this journey, but soon they are bombarded with a billion images, each one more vibrant than the last, like a kaleidoscope painted before their very eyes.
As the rollercoaster ride continues, the speaker is swept away by the sheer force of the experience. They feel a sense of union between their senses and the senseless as if everything is merging in a chaotic and exhilarating way. Amidst all of this, the speaker catches a glimpse of a smiling face and is immediately struck by its beauty. They long to capture that smile in a note of childish romance, but their soul laughs at their naughty thoughts.
The poem explores the concept of time and space, the twins of science, in new and unexpected ways. The rollercoaster ride takes the speaker on a journey through time and space, dragging them away from their comfortable spot and into the unknown. Another twin takes hold of their hand and guides them through the darkness, leading them toward new beginnings.
As the ride comes to an end, the speaker is left holding a red rose in their left hand. The rose represents the fleeting nature of life and the importance of cherishing each moment. The speaker kneels and stretches out the time left in their hand, savoring every last second of the experience.
The poem ends with the boisterous laughs of the speaker’s soul ringing in their ears. They look to their left and see the imprinted smile in real life, a reminder of the beauty and wonder that can be found in even the most chaotic and tumultuous moments of life.
In summary, “Lessons From Childish Romances” is a powerful exploration of the human experience, filled with vivid imagery and thought-provoking themes. It reminds us to embrace life’s ups and downs, cherish each moment, and always look for beauty amidst the chaos.

About The Poem – The Arrival Of The Gift

Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, is a time for reflection, prayer, and fasting. It is a month that Muslims all over the world look forward to every year. While many people focus on the physical benefits of fasting, there are many spiritual benefits as well.

Fasting during Ramadan is not just about abstaining from food and drink during the day. It is also about spiritual purification and self-reflection. Fasting helps us to develop self-discipline, self-control, and empathy for those who are less fortunate. It is a time to focus on our relationship with God and strengthen our faith and spirituality.

One of the most important aspects of Ramadan is the nightly prayers, known as Taraweeh. These prayers are performed after Isha (the night prayer) and are usually led by a knowledgeable and experienced Imam. Taraweeh prayers are an opportunity to connect with God on a deeper level, and to seek His forgiveness and guidance.

Ramadan is also a time for giving and charity. Muslims are encouraged to give to those in need, whether it be through Zakat (obligatory charity) or by volunteering at a local food bank or shelter. Giving to others is a way to purify our hearts and souls, and show gratitude for the blessings that we have been given.

Spirituality has been shown to have a positive impact on mental health and well-being. Prayer and meditation have been found to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, and to increase feelings of happiness and contentment. Ramadan provides a unique opportunity to focus on our spirituality and to reap the benefits of this practice.

Ramadan is a time for spiritual growth and self-reflection. Fasting helps us to develop self-discipline and empathy, while the nightly prayers and acts of charity help us to connect with God and with our fellow human beings. By focusing on our spirituality during this month, we can improve our mental health and well-being, and live a more peaceful and fulfilling life. So, let us embrace this blessed month with open hearts and minds, and let us strive to be the best that we can be.

About The Poem – The Unseen Island.

After spending all night with some wicked computer programs I thought I need to get some sleep and took my phone to set the alarm… There I saw an old phrase I wrote in my WhatsApp … The title of the poem. That was a good start. This is a poem about the long-lost soul trying to grab onto whatever one can get a grip on and survive the onslaught of the wicked world.

Ramadan will start on Wednesday. And in about a week from then, I will take a break to stay with my brother and his wife in Kansas. Unless something big happens, I will stay there through the end of Ramadan. Some people say life is crazy and we blew up most of our opportunities. They all forget the element of God in all these things. I remember reading this.
Once Moosa Alaihisslaam(Moses) had some serious stomach pain and he prayed to Allah to help him. Allah told him to go and find a particular herb and consume it. The pain went away. After some time Moosa Alaihissalam had the same kinda pain and he went and took the herb. This time the pain doubled and then he prayed to Allah again this time with a complaint too. He asked, “Oh’, Allah the same herb is now giving me double the pain”. Allah said “Oh Moosa, last time you asked me so my blessing was on the herb so it healed you. This time you didn’t ask me you went directly to the herb. The herb in itself has no healing power. When you took that herb by my command, actually it is me who healed you”.
Take a lesson from that. There is nothing that can happen anywhere in the universe without the knowledge and permission of Allah. And Allah always finds an Earthly reason for his actions. Many of my readers who are not Muslims may call Allah different names but God is the truth, the absolute power. Keep that in mind.

About The Poem – The Girl With The Braided Hair.

This is a poem written about an amazingly beautiful girl called Katya from St.Petersburg, Russia. Working with her was not that easy, she doesn’t know English very well, so our communication was erratic. I didn’t ask her to sit with me and chat with me for a long time. I asked her to go around St.Petersburg and take selfies. She came back with some stunning pictures. They were not selfies. It was a professional photographer who took those pictures. I looked at one of those pictures and wrote this poem. Unfortunately, the photographer and Katya didn’t agree with me in using the picture with the poem. So I needed to use another picture.

On Another Note:
Life is a journey that is intricately woven into the fabric of time and space. As we move forward, our actions and thoughts leave an imprint on the vast expanse of our existence. Sometimes, these imprints are pleasant and enriching, but other times they can be burdensome and overwhelming. However, as we navigate through the twists and turns of life, it is important to remember that we can always find sweetness even in the most challenging moments.
Over the past year, many of us have experienced events that were unpleasant, difficult, and trying. From personal struggles to global crises, there were times when it felt like the weight of the world was bearing down on us. But despite these challenges, we persevered, we adapted, and we found ways to carry on.
For those of us who have lived for several decades, such as myself, we know that this is not the first time we have faced adversity. We have experienced loss, heartbreak, and disappointment, and yet, we have learned to find sweetness in what was given from a burdened event. We have learned that even when life feels like a heavy weight pressing down on us, we can find joy and happiness if we choose to look for it.
One way to find sweetness in difficult moments is to focus on the lessons that we can learn from them. Every challenge we face is an opportunity to grow and evolve, to become stronger and more resilient. When we face adversity, we can choose to let it defeat us, or we can use it as a catalyst for positive change.
Another way to find sweetness in difficult moments is to connect with others. We all need support and encouragement, especially during challenging times. By reaching out to friends, family, or even strangers, we can find comfort, inspiration, and hope. In turn, we can also offer support and kindness to others who may be struggling.
Ultimately, life is a journey that is filled with both joy and sorrow. The burdens of our actions and thoughts will bend space and time itself, but it is up to us to choose how we respond to those burdens. We can let them defeat us, or we can find sweetness even in the most challenging moments. By focusing on the lessons we can learn and by connecting with others, we can find joy, happiness, and meaning in our journey through life.

About The Poem – Kindness Given In Pain.

I found a model doing a live show online and during that time I saw something very unusual… As I looked at her, the girl was trying to get an earring out of her ear. It was stuck and she was in tremendous pain. I could see the tears in her eyes and the frustration on her face. This scene inspired me to write this poem.

Ramadan is almost here and it is with tremendous enthusiasm I am waiting to start the month of fasting, prayers, and meditation. I may go to Kansas and spend some time with my brother and sister-in-law. Their kids are all grown up one is working in Chicago and the other is in studying in Virginia.
The cobblers of Facebook and me are at odds. First, my best friend’s business account got hacked, and even when I got the VP involved they couldn’t do shit to get that account restored. Second, I got my account restricted for no particular reason I can reasonably think of. Third, they block sharing links from LonelyPoet.Com on Facebook saying the link may not be secure. The stupidity is, I found a way around this by using apps on Facebook itself. How can I not call these cobblers profanity? Their system sucks and I hope that company goes bankrupt soon.

About The Poem – A Story In Black And White

It took approximately 15 minutes to write this poem. The idea came during the writing itself as after seeing the image in black and white I thought there is a story of this lady hidden deep in her heart. What she hides and what she shows wondered me. The poem was about finding ways to forgive those who abandoned the idea of a loving lover for the wilderness of this world but love is an emotion that will find ways on its own to reach the purity of a good lover.

Ramadan is almost here and I am cleaning up the mess inside the house. Most people around me are preparing for spring cleaning but spring as we know it is hiding somewhere no one really knows. These are times when as a human I should find ways to forgive and forget many things as I myself seek forgiveness for my mishaps. Life is easy when one thinks right and acts upon it, Life will become miserable when one acts bad and think about it.

About The Poem – The Unseen Face

While browsing through multitudes of images of faces, I found a picture of a girl walking with only her back view. I first thought, what will her face look like? I almost clicked the photographer’s link to see if there were more pictures of her. But a thought came to my mind, nope, I don’t want to see her face, the face that comes to mind is good enough. That thought triggered this poem.

Enjoy.

I going to focus more on posting here on this site than on social media. They all suck big time. There is no freedom of expression anywhere. Most of the snowflakes and cancel culture folks have gone out of control. But I have to admit, it was a fun and fantastic journey through it all I met some fantastic people through social media. But looks like it is time for me to retire to my own sites than lurk around a world that doesn’t want me. I will be here, speaking my mind and my opinions on my site. You can read it all, just read, I expect no feedback, but keep in mind, I love you all.

About The Poem – The Girl Who Outshined Twilight

This poem as the picture may tell you was written looking at the picture mostly. I have had great communication with this model throughout the composition time. The model thanked me for the poem and so kindly allowed me to use the image. There is a video also which she had shown me online but I do not have a copy of it as she didn’t give me permission to use that video.
This is like painting looking at a model. But I went a little deeper than a painter will do. Not just take the feeling of the model, but what I felt inside of me when looking at the image.

I am a gentle giant. I love patience and I also love my little arrogant moments. There is this one person I am finding every way to forgive even though she doesn’t deserve any forgiveness. That’s the struggle. Life is not a monster we make it monstrous.

About The Poem – The Unwritten Lullaby.

A poem written about the pain of the lover who was abandoned by his lover and what he prayed as a blessing now hurts him as a never-ending curse. His art, his happiness, his anger, his sadness all filled with that curse or to say, the memory of her. However, when beauty of everything is lost in that curse, life finds a way to give a rhythm for a new lullaby.

I’ve heard a long time back that when one door closes at least another will open. From the way things are going I know, there is a door that opened but I have no idea where that door is. So there is a possibility everything I can knock on can be a door. When in past I encountered such situations what I did was make necessary adjuments or even make dramatic changes like moving from one country to another. Every time I did that I always left everything I had behind and kept only connections strong enough to withstand the test of my fate in the was expanding time. I have always forgiven, forgotten but this time. Nope.
